What we value

- Tillage, seeding and harvesting equipment
- Sprayers and fertiliser spreaders
- Trailers and semi-trailers
- Livestock and dairy equipment, milking systems
- Grain dryers and storage equipment
When you need a valuation
Banks and leasing companies usually ask for one when machinery is pledged or refinanced. It is also needed for European Union and LAD support projects, when buying or selling used machinery, for insurance, when dividing a farm between heirs or partners, and for fixed asset accounting.
If the report is for a specific institution or project, include its requirements in your request so the document is accepted without further questions.
Documents we will need
- Registration certificate
- Technical passport or manufacturer specification
- Purchase documents: invoice or sale agreement
- Engine hours reading and service records
- Details of extra equipment, such as GPS guidance or attachments
- Information on major repairs and known defects
On-farm inspection anywhere in Latvia
We reply to every request within 2 hours, arrange a convenient inspection time and agree on when the report will be ready. There is no need to bring machinery to Riga. The valuer comes to your farm anywhere in Latvia, checks identification numbers and engine hours, tests the engine, transmission and hydraulics, looks at tyre and working part wear and photographs the machine from every side.
If several machines need valuing, we inspect them in one trip, so it pays to request them all together.
What affects the value
- Brand, model and year of manufacture
- Engine hours
- Technical condition and regular servicing
- Wear of tyres, tracks and working parts
- Level of equipment and attachments
- Seasonality: demand for machinery changes through the year
- Availability of spare parts and service in Latvia
Reports accepted by banks
Our reports follow the LVS-401 standard and are accepted by the largest banks in Latvia, including SEB, Luminor and Bigbank, as well as leasing companies and other financial institutions.
How long it takes
After the inspection the report is usually ready within 1 to 3 working days. For a large fleet or a full livestock equipment set we agree the deadline in advance, taking into account your bank's or project application schedule.
