What we value
We value passenger cars and motorcycles, minibuses and vans, trucks, tractor units and tippers, agricultural machinery, passenger buses, specialised vehicles, and watercraft: motorboats, yachts, jet skis and ships.
Valuations are used by banks and leasing companies, insurers, company accounts departments, bailiffs, and private individuals who want to sell or buy a vehicle at a fair price.
What documents we will need
- Vehicle registration certificate
- The owner's identity document
- Service book or repair history, if available
- List of additional equipment and receipts, if equipment was fitted later
- Details of any damage and previous accidents
- For company vehicles, also purchase documents and balance sheet value
How the process works
We respond to enquiries within 2 hours, arrange a time to view the property and agree on a deadline for the valuation. The inspection usually takes place wherever suits you: at home, at your office or at a garage. The valuer checks the mileage, the condition of the bodywork and interior, the tyres, the equipment and signs of previous repairs, and photographs the vehicle from all sides.
The value is then supported by actual transactions and demand on the Latvian and European markets for that particular model, engine and year.
What affects a vehicle's value
- Make, model, year of manufacture and engine type
- Actual mileage and whether it matches the documents
- Technical condition, and how the engine and gearbox perform
- Condition of the bodywork, corrosion and quality of repairs
- Service history and regularity of maintenance
- Level of equipment and any additional features
- Wear of the tyres and interior
- Demand for the specific model on the Latvian market
A valuation banks accept
We prepare valuations in accordance with the LVS-401 standard, and they are accepted by the major Latvian banks, including SEB, Luminor and Bigbank, as well as other leasing companies and financial institutions.
How to prepare a vehicle for inspection
The valuation is more accurate if the vehicle is washed and the interior is tidy, since the valuer can then properly assess the condition of the bodywork and trim. Prepare the registration certificate, the service book and receipts for any major repairs or additional equipment.
If there are known faults, such as a warning light on the dashboard or an oil leak, mention them straight away. A hidden problem will be noticed during the inspection anyway, but an open conversation lets us prepare the valuation faster and without further questions from the bank.
Why clients choose PRO MOTION

We value individual cars as well as company fleets and groups of machinery. If several units need valuing, we agree the total cost and schedule in advance, so you know what to expect.
